campingLAND BETWEEN THE LAKES, Ky. (3/7/18) — Forest Service officials at Land Between the Lakes plan to open most campgrounds and attractions Friday with some flood related limitations.

This lifts a Feb. 28 camping closure order put in place to protect life, property and resources. Forest officials urge visitors to exercise continued caution when visiting Land Between the Lakes. Many areas remain underwater and some areas experienced erosion. Receding waters will also leave debris that could pose a hazard to visitors. Do not drive in standing water.

A complete list of flood related impacts along with open and closure status is posted online at: https://www.landbetweenthelakes.us/alerts-notices/. Visitors are encouraged to visit the page to learn more information regarding specific locations.
