Tune in to KET on Monday, May 27 at 9/8pm for the second installment of KET's series on youth mental health: You Are Not Alone.

Episode 3: Whole Child/Whole School (9/8pm): this episode takes a closer look at a paradigm shift in how school districts are addressing the health of their students. More schools are expanding their services beyond exercise and nutrition to help students with social and emotional development. KET visits Pulaski Co. schools to learn about their specific programs and also hears from counselors and administrators from around the state about their emphasis on youth mental health.

Episode 4: Anxiety and Depression (9:30/8:30pm): this episode takes an in-depth look at the two most common mental health problems that young people face. We hear a personal story from a young woman who has benefited from therapy and medication and now counsels others, and learn about the ways depression and anxiety can manifest from Dr. Christopher Peters from the University of Louisville. We also visit an organization in Georgetown that uses equine therapy to help youth, and learn how virtual reality can help people overcome anxiety from Dr. Kevin Chapman, PhD.
