Flag and dog tagsvet ffffffCADIZ, KY., — Foster ‘Bill’ Jenkins, 78, of Cadiz passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at his home in Cadiz.  Mr. Jenkins enlisted into the United States Army in 1958 & retired as a Major in 1978.  During his military career he proudly served during the Vietnam War & was the recipient of many medals & awards for his heroic achievement & service during combat.  Among those are the National Defense Service Medal, Bronze Star w/ V & OLC, Vietnam Service Medal w/ 4 stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ 60 Device, two Overseas Bars, Parachutist Badge, Purple Heart w/ 2 OLC's, two Good Conduct Medals, Armed Forces Reserve Medal & Meritorious Service Medal. 

Arrangements are being handled by the Funeral Home 138 Main Street in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 12noon to 2pm Sunday, January 14, 2018. 

The funeral service will be at the Funeral Home at  2pm Sunday, January 14, 2018 with Pastor Geoff Baggett officiating.  Burial with full military honors will follow at Wadlington Cemetery, Freeman Road in Trigg Co., KY.
