Wolff 1 1HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (1/1/18) — Kentucky State Police Post 2 troopers arrested a man after a traffic stop in Hopkinsville recently. He was wanted for allegedly running over a Nortonville woman with his vehicle.

Trooper Brian Graves responded to the call Dec. 21. After an investigation, KSP reported determining Michael Wolff, 21 of Hopkinsville, was the suspect who ran over a woman identified as 33-year-old Ashley Rivera-Mena following a verbal altercation between the two in Mannington.

Mena was taken via ambulance to Baptist Health Madisonville, and then flown by helicopter to an Evansville, Indiana hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to the report.

Troopers spotted Wolff driving a 2004 GMC pickup along Greenville Road at 4:42 p.m. Saturday, and pulled him over to serve the warrant. The officers also reported finding Wolff had a concealed handgun in his truck.

Wolff was charged with first-degree assault and carrying a concealed weapon. He was listed as being held in Christian County Jail this afternoon on $25,000 cash bond.
