LentHOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (2/9/18) — Grace Episcopal Church in Hopkinsville announced its 40th Annual Lenten Luncheon Program schedule for this Easter season.

It is an opportunity for different people and churches to share a meal and fellowship. The money raised each year has served community outreach programs including Arron McNeil House, Sanctuary House, Grace Church kindergarten and many others, organizers said.

The cost per meal is $8. Luncheons take place following each Friday Lent services held at noon.

The Grace Episcopal Church Lenton Luncheon Program is listed below:

Feb. 16 — Rev. Paige Williams of First United Methodist Church will speak. Hosts are Faye Mason and Virginia Lawson. Spinach lasagna will be served.

Feb. 23 — Rev. M.O. Fort of Virginia Street Baptist Church will speak. Pam Vance and Danielle White will host. King ranch casserole in on the lunch menu.

March 2 — Rev. Lisa Balboa of Freeman Chapel CME Church will serve as guest speaker. Margaret Prim and Tony Prim will serve as hosts, with shepherds pie.

March 9 — Rev. Fr. Richard Meredith of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church is guest speaker, with hosts Kris Gavitt and Roxane Thomas. Chicken a la king in a shell will be served.

March 16 — Rev. Alan Akridge of St. Marks Episcopal in St. Simons Island, Georgia is scheduled to speak. Susan Ferguson and Emma Nanney will host, with chicken spaghetti.

March 23 — Rt. Rev. Terry White of Bishop Diocese of Kentucky will speak. Hosts will be Joyce Cornett and Gail Blane, and Johnny Mozzetti will provide the meal.

March 30 — The Very Rev. Alice Nichols of Grace Episcopal Church will speak. A meal is not scheduled.
