MillerCHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (2/19/18) — Troopers stopped an Illinois driver on the Pennyrile Parkway in Crofton for alleged reckless driving Friday night.

Kentucky State Police Post 2 reported Trooper Hunter Carroll pulled over 29-year-old Ashley Miller of Bloomington, Illinois at 7:20 p.m.

KSP indicated Miller appeared to be under the influence. After investigating, the trooper reported finding a substance believed to be heroin, numerous pills and an open alcohol beverage container in the 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe. Police also contacted the owner of a check found in the vehicle, determining Miller had written it to herself without the owner’s consent.

Miller was charged with speeding 15 mph over the limit, reckless driving, DUI, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (heroin), open alcohol container, illegal possession of a legend drug and prescription controlled substance not in its proper container.

She was listed as being held in Christian County Jail today on $5,000 cash bond.
