dog close upHOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (4/12/19) — Hopkinsville Police Department announced a Bark-B-Que event is set for 11 a.m.-1 p.m. April 27 at Hopkinsville Dog Park off Pardue Lane.

Officers said Hopkinsville Animal Control Officers will be on hand to answer questions. There will be local resources available on spay an neuter programs as well as information on city and county animal registration, ordinances and Kentucky revised statutes related to animal laws.

In addition to fun, hot dogs will be provided and dogs get treats. A Christian County Animal Shelter representative will be onsite to offer city and county dog licenses.

Guests are encouraged to bring along leashed pets.
