Cates JCHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (6/18/19) — Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 33-year-old Hopkinsville woman Monday afternoon.

Jessica M. Cates of Hopkinsville was charged with third-degree terroristic threatening.

Deputies reported Cates called dispatch, saying she “was going to smoke a joint, get into her red Cadillac and run through the fence of Keith’s Towing, burn it down and get her car back.”

Cates evidently did not get the Cadillac back, and instead, received a ride to the county jail. She was listed as being held in Christian County Jail today on no bond.

As the deputy arrived at the scene off Powell Road, she told the officer her plans, which resulted in her arrest in connection to threatening a female worker and the claim to burn down the towing service building.
