Sparks 7 22CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (7/22/19) — Three people were arrested at a Sparkman Road location over the weekend in Hopkinsville.

Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrest citations reveal deputies were working to serve an outstanding arrest warrant to 33-year-old Daniel Sparks late Friday night.

Deputies knocked on the front door, verbally indicating they were looking for Sparks and to open the door, accord to one of the arrest reports. Officers could hear talking and movement inside the residence. Sparks was seen going out a back door, then ran back inside.

CCSO reported deputies made entry into the home, where Sparks refused to comply with verbal commands and resisted arrest. Two others in the home identified as Michelle L. Kamely, 43 of Providence and Andre Myers, 34 of White House, Tennessee, were each charged with second-degree hindering prosecution or apprehension.

A shotgun and stolen handgun were found inside the home, according to reports. One of the handguns contained a hollow point round.

Sparks was charged Saturday with resisting arrest, two counts of convicted felon in possession of a handgun, receiving stolen property (firearm), using restricted ammo during felony (no shots fired) and served a Christian County indictment warrant on the charges of felony probation violation and failure to appear.

He was listed as being held in Christian County Jail today on 21,100 cash bond.
