The owner told officers he tried to retrieve the vehicle from Isaiah Joseph Bale Wednesday evening, an arrest report indicates. Bale drove the vehicle into the woods as deputies responded to the complaint off East Princeton Street in Crofton.

After a search of the area, deputies reported finding the four-wheeler abandoned in the woods, but the shirtless and shoeless man ran off.

Bale, 19, was found a couple hours later in Crofton, according to an arrest citation. He was charged with receiving stolen property (less than $10,000) and second-degree fleeing police on foot.
