MCarleyHOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (8/16/19) — A Christian Circuit Court grand jury returned an indictment warrant of arrest to a Hopkinsville City Councilwoman today, court records show.

Kimberly D. McCarley, 49, allegedly forged another name on a bank document without that individual’s authority in 2016. The indictment warrant shows bond has been set at $5,000 cash. She was charged with second-degree forgery.

An indictment does not indicate a person is guilty of the charge. McCarley has served Ward 2 in Hopkinsville since 2009 and is listed as vice chair of the Hopkinsville Public Transportation Advisory Committee, according to the city’s website.
