lane restriction2 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (8/21/19) — Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans a westbound work zone lane restriction along U.S. 68, between Hopkinsville and Cadiz in western Christian County, starting Monday.

Westbound traffic on U.S. 68 will be restricted to one lane at mile point 3.5 to allow deck patching on the Sinking Fork Creek Bridge, KYTC Spokesman Keith Todd reported. This is along U.S. 68 about two-tenths of a mile east of the Kentucky 1349/Quisenberry Lane intersection.

Todd asks westbound drivers to be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach this work zone on the Sinking Fork Creek Bridge. Work at the site is expected to take about three days to complete, weather permitting. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic.
