CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (9/13/19) — A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans intermittent southbound exit ramp closures at the Pennyrile Parkway/Kentucky 800 Crofton Exit 23 interchange today.

KYTC Spokesman Keith Todd reports the contractor will be milling and paving along the southbound ramp, from Pennyrile Parkway to Kentucky 800 at Exit 23 through the day. There will be several periods where the southbound exit ramp may have to be closed for 30 minutes or more to facilitate the work.

To avoid delays, Todd suggests southbound motorists on the Pennyrile who wish to access the Crofton area should consider taking the Mannington Exit to travel southward along U.S. 41 to Crofton.

The work is part of an ongoing rehabilitation project along this section of the Pennyrile Parkway.
