Hopkins County Central StormMORGANTOWN, Ky. (9/20/19) — Hopkins County Central halted a three-game skid on Thursday, beating host Butler County 3-1 in a boys' high school soccer match.

With the win, Hopkins County Central improved to 3-5-3.

Butler County dropped to 0-13-1 with the loss.

Tim Clevinger, Julio Rivera-Mena and Jesus Gallegos scored one goal apiece for Hopkins County Central in the victory.

Defensively for the Storm, goalkeeper Chase Garrett recorded four saves while allowing only one goal.

Jose Sanchez scored Butler County's lone goal. Defensively for the Bears, goalkeeper Alex Diaz recorded seven saves while allowing three goals.
