McLean CountyLLOYD, Ky. (12/30/17) — Keenan Smith scored a game-high 25 points to lead McLean County past Russell County 65-60 in the Stultz Pharmacy Holiday Classic at Greenup County High School on Friday.

With the win, McLean County improved to 5-6.

Russell County dropped to 3-11 with the loss.

Joining Smith in double figures for McLean County, Austin Blades added 14 points and Logan Patterson posted 12 points.

McLean County battled back from behind and finished strong, outscoring Russell County 20-8 in the fourth quarter.

Brayton Scales paced Russell County with 14 points. Three Russell County players also reached double figures scoring-wise as Hayes Coffey and Tate Richardson contributed 12 points apiece in the setback.

In the other games played Friday in the Stultz Pharmacy Holiday Classic it was Greenup County 76, Prestonsburg 65 and Seneca 74, Bell County 66.
