Ohio County EaglesMORTONS GAP, Ky. (12/30/17) — Ohio County was outscored in each quarter as Greenwood pulled away to win 70-48 in the Lady Storm United Mine Workers of America Classic at Hopkins County Central High School on Friday.

With the loss, Ohio County dropped to 2-11.

Carly Miller led Greenwood with a game-high 22 points. Greenwood featured four scorers in double figures as Riley Hartis and Jacqueline Jackson added 16 points apiece and Abigail Turey contributed 13 points.

Greenwood led 38-27 at halftime and outscored the Lady Eagles 19-12 in the third quarter

Kate Edge paced Ohio County with 15 points.

Finishing directly behind Edge in the Ohio County scoring column, Kelsey Kennedy netted 14 points.
