Hopkins County Central StormCALHOUN, Ky. (1/3/18) — Tylan Mann scored 21 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead Hopkins County Central past host McLean County 76-68 in a mid-season boys' high school basketball game on Tuesday night.

Hopkins County Central evened its record to 7-7 with the win.

With the loss, McLean County stumbled to 5-7.

Hopkins County Central shot 42.4 percent (25-of-59) from the field. The Storm went 8-for-27 from 3-point range.

Hopkins County Central was 18-of-32 (56.3 percent) from the free throw line.

Four different Hopkins County Central players reached double figures in the scoring column as Ethan Putty posted 16 points, Johntize Miller contributed 14 points and Jaylen Barnhill netted 11 points.

Blasin Moore grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds and chipped in six points for the Storm in the victory.

Matching Moore's scoring total, Sam Almon added six points of his own for the Hopkins County Central boys' basketball team.
