Owensboro Catholic logoLEITCHFIELD, Ky. (1/7/18) — Luke Hayden and JD Marshall scored 10 points apiece to lead visiting Owensboro Catholic past Grayson County 57-40 in a mid-season boys' high school basketball game on Saturday.

Owensboro Catholic improved to 8-6 with the win.

Grayson County dropped to 7-9 with the loss.

The Aces gradually pulled away for the win, outscoring Grayson County 12-5 in the first quarter and then carrying a 29-14 lead into halftime.

Gabe McFarland chipped in eight points and Andrew Riney added seven points for the Aces in the victory.

Grayson County didn't feature any scorers in double figures. Wyatt Schultz paced the Cougars with nine points.

Logan Majors added eight points and Bailey Logdson posted seven points for Grayson County in the setback.
