OwensboroCatholic baseballOWENSBORO, Ky. (1/7/18) — Three Owensboro Catholic players combined to score 41 points as the Lady Aces defeated visiting Marshall County 53-21 in a mid-season girls' high school basketball game on Saturday.

With the win, Owensboro Catholic improved to 12-3.

Marshall County dropped to 10-6 with the loss.

Sharing game-high scoring honors, Sarah Beth Clemens and Ellie Mitchell led Owensboro Catholic with 14 points.

Mackenzie Keelin finished directly behind Clemens and Mitchell in the Owensboro Catholic scoring column, posting 13 points.

Owensboro Catholic shot 50 percent (20-of-40) from the field. The Lady Aces were 5-of-12 (41.7 percent) from 3-point range.

Cayson Conner led a limited Marshall County offensive attack, tossing in seven points.
