DCHARTFORD, Ky. (1/9/18) — Bailey Hume scored a game-high 21 points to lead Daviess County past host Ohio County 62-36 in a mid-season girls' high school basketball game on Monday night.

With the win, its second straight victory, Daviess County improved to 6-11.

Ohio County dropped to 3-14 with the loss, which was its second straight setback.

Ragan Howard accompanied Hume in double figures for the Lady Panthers, posting 19 points.

After the first quarter ended with the two teams tied 7-7, Daviess County outscored Ohio County 26-8 in the second period to lead 33-15 at halftime.

Visiting Daviess County, which received eight points from Mikayla Hamilton, remained in control throughout the second half.

Kate Edge and Mya Coleman paced Ohio County, scoring eight points apiece.
