Madisonville North Hopkins MaroonsPRINCETON, Ky. (1/10/18) — Cade Cunningham scored a game-high 25 points to lead Madisonville-North Hopkins past host Caldwell County 83-57 in a Seventh District boys' basketball game on Tuesday night.

With the win, Madisonville-North Hopkins improved to 13-5 overall and 3-0 in the Seventh District.

Caldwell County dropped to 7-8 overall and 1-1 in the district with the loss.

Ksuan Casey followed Cunningham in double figures for the Maroons, scoring 17 points.

Madisonville-North Hopkins took control of the district matchup early. The Maroons outscored Caldwell County 23-15 in the opening quarter and took a 45-28 lead into halftime.

Derrin Boyd led Caldwell County with 22 points. Joining Boyd on double figures for the Tigers, Jameer Riley contributed 12 points and Cayden Fraliex added 11 points.
