Owensboro Catholic logoOWENSBORO, Ky. (1/10/18) — The Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces had a four-game winning streak halted at home in their latest outing. Sacred Heart sent Owensboro Catholic back into the loss column on Tuesday night, defeating the Lady Aces 75-40.

Owensboro Catholic dropped to 12-4 with the loss.

Sacred Heart improved to 11-4 with the win.

The Valkyries were 10-of-18 from 3-point range in the victory.

Kiki Samsel paced Sacred Heart with 15 points.

Sacred Heart featured four scorers in double figures as Grace Berger added 13 points, Ashlee Harris posted 11 points and Erin Toller contributed 10 points.

Mackenzie Keelin led Owensboro Catholic with 15 points.

Ellie Mitchell was the only other Owensboro Catholic player to reach double figures in the scoring column, posting 14 points.

Owensboro Catholic shot only 33.3 percent (13-of-39) from the field. The Lady Aces were 1-of-5 from 3-point range.
