Kentucky ThoroughbredsOWENSBORO, Ky. (1/13/18) — The Kentucky Thoroughbreds battled back to beat the visiting Rochester Razorsharks 99-96 in their home opener at the Sportscenter on Friday night.

Thanks to the come-from-behind victory, Kentucky remains undefeated in its inaugural season in the North American Premier Basketball (NAPB) league. 

With the win, Kentucky moved to 3-0.

Rochester dropped to 0-4 with the loss.

The Thoroughbreds prevailed after facing a 10-point deficit heading into the final quarter.

Six Kentucky players reached double figures in the scoring column. Tyshawn Patterson led the Thoroughbreds with a game-high 21 points.

AJ Stewart and Chris Lightner scored 12 points apiece in debuts for the Thoroughbreds. 

Jerice Crouch paced Rochester with 20 points.

Kentucky is set to host Rochester in another game at the Sportscenter at 7 p.m. on Saturday night.
