McLean CountyCALHOUN, Ky. (2/10/18) — Three McLean County players reached double figures in the scoring column but it wasn't enough to lift the Cougars to a win in their latest outing. Instead, visiting Logan County defeated McLean County 72-59 in a boys' high school basketball game on Friday night.

With the loss, McLean County slipped to 7-17.

Logan County improved to 13-13 with the win.

Host McLean County faced a deficit at the conclusion of each quarter. Logan County clung to a 32-30 lead at halftime but finished strong, outscoring McLean County 23-14 in the finale frame.

Austin Rayno carried Logan County with a game-high 24 points. Accompanying Rayno in double figures for Logan County, Tommy Krohn contributed 13 points and Mykal Hampton posted 10 points.

Logan Patterson paced McLean County with 15 points. Following Patterson in the McLean County scoring column, Keenan Smith tossed in 12 points and Brayden Bishop added 11 points.
