Owensboro Catholic logoHENDERSON, Ky. (2/13/18) — Visiting Owensboro Catholic held on to defeat Henderson County 62-55 in a late-season girls' high school basketball game on Monday night.

With the win, Owensboro Catholic improved to 20-7.

Henderson County dropped to 12-10 with the loss.

MacKenzie Keelin led Owensboro Catholic with a game-high 20 points.

Owensboro Catholic featured four scorers in double figures as Ellie Mitchell posted 12 points and Hannah McKay and Sarah Beth Clemens netted 10 points apiece.

The Lady Aces led 34-27 at halftime and remained ahead throughout the second half.

Emilee Hope paced Henderson County with 19 points. Jaylee Carter was the only other Henderson County player to reach double figures in the scoring column, registering 11 points.
