SoftballMADISONVILLE, Ky. (3/10/18) — Defending state champion Madisonville-North Hopkins is ranked fifth in the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association Preseason Top 25 Poll, which was released on Friday.

The Lady Maroons are ranked behind East Carter, McCracken County, Male and preseason favorite Scott County.

Ballard, Mercy, Central Hardin, Christian County and South Warren round out the Top 10 in the preseason rankings.

Owensboro Catholic is ranked 12th, Daviess County 13th, Apollo 15th and Webster County 25th in the poll.
