Ohio County EaglesGREENVILLE, Ky. (4/13/18) — Visiting Ohio County scored first and never trailed on its way to defeating host Muhlenberg County 11-8 in a high school baseball game on Thursday.

With the win, Ohio County improved to 5-3

Muhlenberg County slipped to 6-4 with the loss.

Ohio County outhit Muhlenberg County 13-10 and won despite committing four errors.

Blaine Gillim paced the Ohio County offensive attack, finishing 4-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Another Ohio County player, Michael Lambert, went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs.

Ohio County pitcher Benjamin Batts notched the win. Closing the game out, Ohio County reliever Alex Reyes earned the save.

Muhlenberg County pitcher Matt Jackson took the loss.
