Henderson County BaseballHAWESVILLE, Ky. (4/14/18) — Henderson County fell victim to a late rally on the road as host Hancock County plated two runs in the bottom half of the seventh inning to prevail 5-4 in a high school baseball game on Friday.

With the loss, Henderson County dropped to 6-5.

Hancock County improved to 7-4 with the win.

The Colonels lost despite outhitting Hancock County 9-5.

Jacob White delivered a two-RBI walk-off triple to send Hancock County to the victory.

Hancock County pitcher Cameron White earned the while while Henderson County hurler Maclaine Morris suffered the loss.

Jacob White led Hancock County at the plate, finishing 3-for-4 with three RBIs. Helping his pitching cause, White provided an RBI for the Colonels.

Nolan Melton and Jake Willoughby led the Henderson County offensive effort with two hits apiece.
