Kentucky ThoroughbredsLEAVENWORTH, Kan. (4/15/18) — The Kentucky Thoroughbreds battled back from a late double digit deficit to defeat the Kansas City Tornados 115-113 in a North American Premier Basketball (NAPB) game on Saturday.

With the win, Kentucky improved to 12-14.

Kansas City dropped to 10-11 with the loss. 

Darius Leonard (24 points, 10 rebounds), Corey Wilford (19 points), Chris Lightner (16 points, nine rebounds) and Tyler Brown (14 points, seven rebounds) combined to lead Kentucky to the victory.

Grant Greenberg (29 points, 18 rebounds), Jacob French (17 points), Franklin Williams (17 points) and Charlton Jones (17 points) led Kansas City in the short effort.

Currently, Kentucky is ranked fifth in the NAPB Standings.
