Daviess County HS logoOWENSBORO, Ky. (4/15/18) — Daviess County dominated at home on Saturday, pulling away to defeat visiting North Bullitt 20-2 in five innings in a high school baseball game.

Offensive-heavy Daviess County claimed its first win in the 2018 season. 

With the win, Daviess County improved to 1-7.

North Bullitt dropped to 2-10 with the loss.

Cameron Nichols, Jake Hansen, Jameson Arnold and Jack Gibson provided two RBIs apiece for the Panthers in the victory. Gibson legged out a triple in Daviess County's winning effort.

Nichols, Hansen, Kirk Liebert and John Zoglmann banged out two hits each for Daviess County in the convincing victory.

On the mound for Daviess County, Garrett Whiteker struck out four and earned the win.

Alec Lush drove in one of North Bullitt's two runs with an RBI single. Lush was the losing pitcher.
