Ohio County EaglesGLASGOW, Ky. (5/13/18) — Ohio County persevered on the road on Saturday, outlasting host Barren County 6-4 in nine innings in a high school baseball game.

With the win, Ohio County improved to 15-6.

Barren County dropped to 10-13 with the loss.

The game was tied 4-4 with Ohio County batting in the top of the ninth when Alex Reyes homered on the first pitch of his at-bat to score two runs.

Ohio County pitcher Travis Fulkerson earned the win. Fulkerson surrendered two runs on one hit over five innings, striking out six.

Tanner Batts started the game on the mound for the Eagles. Batts surrendered two runs on four hits over four innings, striking out six

Justin Combs started on the mound for homestanding Barren County. Combs went five innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out four. Trevor Moore threw four innings in relief for the Trojans.

The Eagles outhit Barren County 13-5 and won despite committing five errors.

Tanner Batts, Blaine Gillim, Wade Everley, Jordan Tolle and Zach Gledhill each provided multiple hits for the Eagles. Gillim went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Ohio County's offensive attack whole Reyes drove in two of the Eagles' six runs.
