Hopkins County Central StormMADISONVILLE, Ky. (5/13/18) — Hopkins County Central was held scoreless at home as visiting Hopkinsville pulled away to win 15-0 in five innings in a high school baseball game on Saturday.

With the loss, Hopkins County Central dropped to 5-17.

Hopkinsville improved to 8-18 with the win.

Hopkinsville pitcher Logan Durst threw a complete-game three-hit shutout and earned the win. Durst allowed three hits and zero runs while striking out five and walking zero over five innings.

Hopkins County Central pitcher Colin Garrett took the loss. Garrett worked one and one-third innings, allowing 10 hits and nine runs while striking out two and walking zero.

Hopkinsville outhit Hopkins County Central 19-3. Durst, Blake Baltrop, Michael Graham, John Duvall, Robert Justus, Caleb Bapp and Layne Jorgensen each managed multiple hits for the Tigers. Baltrop led Hopkinsville at the plate, finishing 4-for-4.

Luke Rideout, Austin Scarbrough and Blake Herring each had one hit for the Storm in the setback.
