McLean CountyCALHOUN, Ky. (5/15/18) — McLean County rolled at home on Monday, defeating visiting 3rd Region rival Whitesville Trinity 21-4 in five innings.

With the win, McLean County improved to 7-16.

Whitesville Trinity dropped to 2-16 with the loss.

Jacob Miller led McLean County at the plate, finishing 3-for-3 with two doubles, a triple and four RBIs.

Nick Christian finished 3-for-3 with four runs scored and an RBI for the Cougars.

Aiding the McLean County offensive effort, Dakota Davis delivered three RBIs while Brandon Haynes, Jacob Clark and Peyton Caraway drove in two runs apiece.

Owen Payne, Zach McDowell and Kevin Foster contributed two hits each for Whitesville Trinity in the loss.

Haynes earned the pitching win while Whitesville Trinity hurler Matt Mils took the loss.

The Raiders struggled defensively, committing six errors.
