Ohio County EaglesHARTFORD, Ky. (5/15/18) — Host Ohio County was held scoreless in a defensive battle as Allen County-Scottsville prevailed 1-0 in a late-season high school softball game on Monday.

With the loss, Ohio County dropped to 19-4.

Allen County-Scottsville improved to 20-9 with the win.

The Lady Eagles committed four errors and were held to two hits.

Allen County-Scottsville pitcher Kris Anne Pardue pitched a complete game and won in the circle. Pardue surrendered zero runs on two hits over seven innings, striking out five and walking zero.

Ohio County pitcher Erika Lambert tossed a complete game and took the loss. Lambert allowed three hits and one run while striking out four and walking zero.

Lambert and Lacie Mills collected one hit apiece to combine for all of Ohio County's offense in the setback.
