Ohio County EaglesHARTFORD, Ky. (5/16/18) — Host Ohio County plated 11 runs during its second at-bat on the way to defeating Hopkinsville 25-3 in five innings in a high school baseball game on Tuesday.

With the win, Ohio County improved to 16-6.

Hopkinsville dropped to 8-20 with the loss.

The Eagles outhit Hopkinsville 19-8 and finished error-free in the field.

Ohio County pitcher Jaxon Lindsey earned the win. Helping his pitching cause at the plate, Lindsey delivered three hits and four RBIs for the Eagles.

Kolton Lambert, Blaine Gillim and Jordan Tolle contributed three hits apiece for the Eagles in the victory. Gillim connected for three doubles while Tolle belted a home run.

Hopkinsville committed a pair of errors in the lopsided loss.
