OwensboroCatholic baseballOWENSBORO, Ky. (5/18/18) — Owensboro Catholic rolled at home at Thursday, pulling away to defeat Meade County 12-2 in five innings in a late-season high school baseball game.

With the win, Owensboro Catholic improved to 14-13.

Meade County dropped to 13-18 with the loss.

Luke Scales led Owensboro Catholic to the win. Scales went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored.

Nick Blair and JR Goetz added two hits apiece as the Aces prevailed.

The Aces excelled offensively and defensively, turning in an error-free performance in the field. Owensboro Catholic pitcher Hunter Small registered six strikeouts and earned the win.

Matt Collard delivered two hits for Meade County in the loss.

Meade County committed three errors defensively.
