Madisonville North Hopkins MaroonsLOUISVILLE, Ky. (5/19/18) — Visiting Madisonville-North Hopkins moved ahead early but couldn't maintain a lead as Pleasure Ridge Park took control and pulled away to win 12-2 in six innings in a high school baseball game on Friday.

With the loss, Madisonville-North Hopkins dropped to 15-16.

Pleasure Ridge Park improved to 23-6 with the win.

The Maroons struggled defensively, committing four errors.

Dallas Glass was the winning pitcher for Pleasure Ridge Park. Glass pitched three innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out six and walking one.

Bryce Phillips, Peyton Garris and Nathan Downs each put in work in relief on the mound for the Panthers.

Blake Reynolds took the loss for the Maroons. Reynolds also pitched three innings, allowing three hits and five runs while striking out one and walking one.

Nick Rucker and Noah McDonald each managed multiple hits for Pleasure Ridge Park. McDonald went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead the Panthers.

Gunner Dameron led Madisonville-North Hopkins with two hits in three at-bats.
