webster county logoDRAFFENVILLE, Ky. (5/20/18) — Webster County split a pair of high school softball games with Hickman County and South Warren in the Marshall County Slugfest on Saturday.

The Lady Trojans topped Hickman County 14-4 in six innings. In another game, South Warren defeated Webster County 9-3.

Webster County 14, Hickman County 4 (6 innings): Grace Scott was 5-for-5 at the plate for Webster County as the Lady Trojans dismantled Hickman County 14-4 in six innings.

Kerstin Braden and Kari Wood added three hits apiece for Webster County in the victory.

In addition to leading Webster County at the plate, Scott picked up the pitching win.

Webster County 9, South Warren 3: Webster County was limited to five hits as South Warren pulled away to win 9-3.

Karlie Keeney provided most of the offense for Webster County, clubbing a two-run homer, doubling and driving in all three of the Lady Trojans' runs.

Scott suffered the pitching loss.
