henderson flashHENDERSON, Ky. (6/11/18) — Henderson County allowed two runs in the top half of the ninth inning as visiting Dubois County battled back to win 7-5 in an Ohio Valley League (OVL) game on Sunday.

The Bombers outhit the Flaah 12-8.

Dubois County pitcher Tobe Whitten earned the win. Whitten surrendered zero runs on one hit over two innings, striking out four. Another pitcher, Reece Kleinhelter, threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen for the Bombers.

Henderson hurler Andy Samuelson took the loss. Samuelson surrendered two runs on two hits over two innings, striking out three.

Kevin Davis started the game on the mound for the Bombers. Davis allowed five hits and four runs over six innings, striking out two.

Braden White started the game on the mound for the Flash. White surrendered two runs on five hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking zero.

Cooper Trinkle and Nolan Ramsey each homered for Dubois County in the victory. Ramsey led Dubois County at the plate, finishing 3-for-5.

Nolan Fertig, Jacob Mulcahy and Aaron Euler led the Henderson offensive effort with two hits apiece.

Each OVL club committed one error.
