Henderson Flash logoHENDERSON, Ky. (7/9/18) — Henderson fell short at home on Monday as Dubois County prevailed 13-12 in a high-scoring Ohio Valley League (OVL) game.

Dubois County pitcher Evan Hall earned the win. Hall pitched five innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out six. Contributing on the mound, Jack Anderson, Ryan Luckett and Jaxson Blair all put in work in relief for the Bombers.

Henderson hurler Cam Wiley took the loss. Wiley surrendered eight runs on seven hits over three and a third innings, striking out three.

The Flash managed to edge the Bombers 13-12 in the hits column.

John McDonald, Chase Andrews and Nick Gonzales each provided multiple hits for Dubois County in the victory.

Evan Keller, Brodie Brown, Paul Haupt and Clayton Mehlbauer each delivered multiple hits for Henderson County in the short effort. Both Haupt and Mehlbauer belted a home run for the Flash.

Each OVL team committed three errors.
