Muhl Stallions Baseball logoPADUCAH, Ky. (7/18/18) — Muhlenberg County committed four errors and missed out on multiple offensive opportunities as host Paducah pulled away to win 7-4 in an Ohio Valley League (OVL) game on Wednesday.

Paducah pitcher Jacob Laws earned the win. Laws pitched three and two-thirds innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits while striking out eight and walking one. Another pitcher, Teal Young, threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen for the Chiefs.

Muhlenberg County pitcher Hunter Combs took the loss. Combs surrendered three runs on three hits over one inning, walking one.

Tyler Hubbard belted a home run for Paducah in the victory. Reid Homan and Jacob Hartline led the Chiefs with two hits apiece.

Jacob Morris and Noah Myers paced Muhlenberg County with two hits each.
