Henderson Flash logoHENDERSON, Ky. (7/18/18) — Winning at home, Henderson held on to edge visiting Fulton 8-7 in an Ohio Valley League (OVL) game on Wednesday.

Henderson pitcher Cameron Chapman earned the win. Chapman surrendered one run on two hits over two innings, striking out four. Chaz Adams, Jacob Tapp, Chase Martin and Andy Samuelson each pitched out of relief roles for the Flash. Martin recorded the last three outs to earn the save.

Fulton pitcher RJ Green took the loss. Green allowed one hit and one run over one inning, striking out one and walking one.

Aaron Euler hit a home run for Henderson in the victory. Chapman, Paul Haupt and Clayton Mehlbauer led the Flash with two hits apiece.

Noah Haupt and Matt Higgins paced Fulton with two hits each.
