McLean CountyCALHOUN, Ky. (8/18/18) — McLean County rushed 58 times for 402 yards and five touchdowns on its way to defeating visiting Ohio County 44-14 in a high school football season opener at Paulsen Stadium on Friday night.

Thriving after halftime, McLean County scored 27 points in the third quarter.

Noah Baldwin scored three touchdowns for the Cougars. Baldwin rushed for a pair of touchdowns and took a kickoff 98 yards to the endzone.

Jacob Miller rushed for two touchdowns while quarterback A.J. Cline reached the endzone on another rushing effort for the Cougars.

Defensively for McLean County, Morgan Algood recorded a safety while Nikolas de la Cruz registered three sacks and Andrew Munster recovered two fumbles.

Landon Capps led McLean County on the ground, rushing for 108 yards.

Ohio County was limited to 173 yards of total offense. The Eagles rushed 40 times for only 52 yards.

Dezmond Randolph completed an 18-yard scoring pass to Ben Wood and rushed for another touchdown in the Eagles' lopsided loss.
