Daviess County HS logoHARTFORD Ky. (9/12/18) — Daviess County returned to the win column on the road on Tuesday, shutting out Third Region rival Ohio County 8-0 in a boys' high school soccer match.

With the win, Daviess County improved to 11-0-1.

Ohio County dropped to 6-2-0 with the loss.

Brian Winkler scored three goals and dished out two assists to lead Daviess County to the victory.

Jacob Boling and Maxten Miller finished directly behind Winkler in the Daviess County scoring column, netting two goals apiece. Miller distributed two assists while Bowling assisted on one goal.

Hunter Clark rounded out the Daviess County invidual scoring, netting one goal.

Jacob Dowdy, Hayden Glover, Bay La and Declan Sandifer aided the Panthers with one assist apiece.

Defensively for Daviess County, goalkeepers Cody Clark, Lennart Merkel and Kaya Suzer combined to record a shutout.
