plane crashWARREN COUNTY, Ky. (11/13/17) — Four people died in an apparent plane crash in Warren County yesterday afternoon.

Kentucky State Police Post 3 was notified of an aircraft accident at 2:20 p.m., which had happened near Bewleytown Road in the Fountain Run community, where a single engine aircraft struck multiple tree tops in a wooded area.

Police said Scott T. Foster, 41, his son, Noah Foster, 15, both of Science Hill, Kyle P. Stewart, 41, and Quinton D. Whitaker, 40, both of Somerset died as a result of the crash.

KSP and the Federal Aviation Administration are conducting a joint investigation.

KSP Post 3 was assisted on the scene by Barren County Sheriff’s Department, Barren and Warren County Coroner’s Offices, Austin Tracy Volunteer Fire Department, Haywood Volunteer Fire Department, Barren/Metcalfe EMS, Barren County Emergency Management, Barren County Constable and Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife.
