Brescia Bearcats logoOWENSBORO, Ky. (8/20/19) — The Brescia University men's soccer program has recruited seven players for the 2019 season.

"We are excited about this year's recruiting class," said Brescia Coach Cameron Williams. "The six freshman and one transfer student will see action fairly quickly, and will have a huge impact on our program moving forward. We have great students first and foremost and they all have been working very hard this preseason. I am looking forward to seeing them grow and develop throughout the year."

The Brescia men's soccer program added the following athletes:

Jackson Barber (So., Daphne, Ala.) is a 5-8 midfielder. He transferred from Auburn University.

Jason Burgess (Fr., Gary, Ind.) is a 5-6 defender from Ohio County High School.

Aaron Jones (Fr., Daphne, Ala.) is a 5-10 midfielder from Daphne High School.

William Kanjorski (Fr., Nanticoke, Pa.) is a 5-5 midfielder from Greater Nanticoke Area High School.

Pau Khual (Fr., Bowling Green, Ky.) is a 5-7 forward from Warren Central High School.

Emilano Sifuentes (Fr., Madisonville, Ky.) is a 5-9 midfielder from Hopkins County Central High School.

Joseph Tapia (Fr., Owensboro, Ky.) is a 5-10 defender from Apollo High School.

The Brescia men's soccer team will kick off its season against St. Mary-of-the-Woods College at Kamuf Park at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24.
