JINKS 5 12 2017PANTHER, Ky. — Larry “Jinks” Sosh 69, of Panther, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro.

Larry Eugene Sosh was born February 5, 1948 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Woody Owen and Alice Margaret Coin Sosh and was better known as “Jinks” to both his family and friends. Jinks was a self-employed jack of all trades and a Marine Veteran of Vietnam. He enjoyed NASCAR, cookouts, and sharing stories with both his family and friends.

Survivors include a son, Larry “J.J.” Sosh of Owensboro; three daughters, Laura Sosh-Lightsy of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Jana Ferguson of Hawesville, and Jill O’Bryan of Owensboro; seven grandchildren, a great grandson, a brother, Delmar Sosh of Utica; two sisters, Reva D. Mooneyhan of Owensboro and Nelda Sosh of Calhoun; his companion, Margaret Burris of Panther; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with Dr. Richard Sams officiating. Burial will be in the Nickel Ridge Cemetery in Daviess County with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post 5415. Friends may visit with Jinks’ family from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Musters in Calhoun.
