lindsey arrestOWENSBORO, Ky. (3/12/18) — After a traffic stop in Waymond Morris Park, Owensboro, yesterday afternoon, an Owensboro woman was charged with operating on a suspended license and now faces drug charges after allegedly having a hidden meth pipe on her at the jail.

KSP stopped a vehicle at 3:15 p.m. on Todd Bridge Road in regard to the driver, 31-year-old Heather D. Lindsey, not wearing a seatbelt. During an investigation, the trooper discovered Lindsey’s driver’s license was suspended. She was charged with operating on a suspended operator’s license and failure to wear a seatbelt and taken to Daviess County Detention Center.

During jail processing, staff and KSP discovered Lindsey had a hidden glass meth pipe on her, said authorities.

Lindsey was also charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance/meth – first offense, drug paraphernalia – buy/possess and first-degree promoting contraband. She is being held at DCDC on a partially secured $10,000 bond.
