Accident Injuries 01 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (4/16/18) — An Owensboro man was seriously injured while his 1-year-old son received only minor scratches during a rollover accident Saturday afternoon.

Daviess County Sheriff’s Office said James D. Boles, 28, was headed west at 4:43 p.m. on Kentucky 56 in a 1997 Jeep CJ7, when he apparently dropped off the right shoulder of the road, came back onto the road and crossing it, struck several road signs and went into a residential yard striking concrete steps before overturning back on the road. The accident occurred near the intersection of Kentucky 56 and Kentucky 258.

Boles was transported to Owensboro Health Region Hospital by ambulance.

His infant son was securely strapped into a car seat, said DCSO.
