water over road 300DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (2/7/19) — Kentucky Transportation officials have indicated that Kentucky 279 in Daviess County has water over the road at the 5-6 mile marker.

Another line of heavy showers including some reported thunderstorms has started moving across our western Kentucky counties.

Floodwaters continue to fluctuate along a number of streams across the region with floodwaters likely to rise through the afternoon. Caution is urged as these showers move through.

Kentucky highway crews are patrolling in counties that are reporting flooded highways. Anyone that encounters a flooded roadway, should take note of the specific location using a mile marker, nearby intersection or local landmark and report it to the local 911 call center.
